Social recruiting is no longer something for the future—it is playing an important role today. The use of social media to attract active and passive candidates presents new opportunities and challenges for talent acquisition professionals. Most progressive talent acquisition executives realize it is important to use social media effectively to fill their talent pipeline; many admit, however, that their recruiting organizations are not getting the results they expect or desire.
This report, from the Research Working Group on “Enhancing Talent Acquisition through Social Media,” reviews the opportunities that social media offers and provides a social recruiting strategy framework. Included in the report are four short embedded videos to allow readers to hear suggested practices directly from talent acquisition professionals.
