Climate change is a 21st-century global challenge, which may threaten global security, economic prosperity, environmental sustainability and public health. US leadership is critical to address this challenge and that can only be achieved through a comprehensive, collaborative strategy between the public and private sectors in countries around the world. The mission of the Climate, Energy & Nature Committee is to determine the goals, principles and policies to guide a comprehensive US climate strategy that builds on the foundation of market principles, the acceleration of innovation, and preservation of US competitiveness.
This Solutions Brief provides recommendations for sustaining US energy independence and promoting energy transmission and energy resilience.
