Report: The Impact of Corporate Citizenship on Shareholder Value

Background

A perennial – and pressing – challenge for companies is to quantify the impact of their corporate citizenship efforts on shareholder value. It may be relatively straightforward in some cases if corporate citizenship efforts include environmental programs that produce cost savings or revenue. But in many other areas, the connection between corporate citizenship programs, their impact on society, and shareholder value are less clear.

This Roundtable will discuss how corporate citizenship results in higher employee retention and better brand reputation. We’ll also discuss how corporate citizenship enables lower business costs and increased business opportunities and how new products and services are made possible through corporate citizenship programs.
