The global ESG disclosure landscape is undergoing a fundamental shift, driven by stricter reporting and due diligence regimes. Thousands of companies will likely be required to comply with the European Union’s comprehensive sustainability disclosure regulations, while even out-of-scope companies will be subject to increasing investor scrutiny and data requests from business partners. To stay ahead, large multinational companies must adapt their ESG reporting strategies to meet heightened stakeholder and regulatory expectations, while optimizing processes for efficiency.

This Roundtable Series will bring together ESG leaders and practitioners from the US and Europe, to share insights on shifting disclosure requirements and practical strategies for compliance. Held under the Chatham House Rule, these interactive sessions will provide a safe space for open discussion and knowledge sharing, to help you navigate the evolving reporting landscape effectively.

Session Two: The Role of Digital Solutions in Reporting: Data Collection and Double Materiality Assessments

Effective compliance with EU standards requires accurate data collection and streamlined double materiality assessments. This session will explore:

  • Best practices for ESG data collection and organization
  • Integrating digital solutions for data management and double materiality
  • Engaging stakeholders in the double materiality process
  • Implementing the double materiality process efficiently and effectively, key challenges, and best practices

The session will occur both virtually and in-person at The Conference Board, located at 845 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10022.
