Community Call: The Future of Voluntary Sustainability Reporting

As mandatory sustainability disclosure rules evolve, voluntary sustainability reporting remains a useful tool for credibility, comparability, and strategic differentiation. Many companies are reassessing where voluntary reporting adds value while preparing for mandatory regimes. This session will provide a forum for open dialogue and peer learning on how to build a reporting strategy that balances stakeholder expectations with internal capacity and compliance demands.

Discussion topics will include:

  • Which frameworks are most relevant? (CDP, GRI, SASB/ISSB, TCFD, etc.)
  • How are you navigating between voluntary frameworks and mandatory regimes?
  • How are you managing reporting fatigue and improving internal alignment as demands grow?
  • How do you decide which frameworks to prioritize?
  • Looking ahead, will the landscape consolidate, and if so, which frameworks are likely to persist?
