Artificial intelligence is reshaping how businesses operate, make decisions, and interact with the world. As innovation accelerates, so do the ethical, societal, governance, and environmental challenges it presents.

This four-part roundtable series brings together thought leaders from across sectors to explore how companies can lead responsibly in the age of AI. Sessions will unpack the geopolitical dynamics shaping AI policy, the environmental footprint of AI technologies, the need for robust governance and oversight, and opportunities to leverage AI for social good.

Session Three: Effective Oversight and Accountability in the Age of AI

This governance-focused session will examine how boards and executive teams can effectively oversee and ensure the responsible use of AI across the enterprise.

Key discussion topics include:

  • Integrating AI into existing risk and compliance frameworks
  • Clarifying the respective roles of management and the board
  • Establishing effective cross-functional oversight

Attendees will also consider how companies are responding to rising stakeholder expectations – including from shareholders and proxy advisors—and preparing for evolving regulatory requirements in the U.S., Europe, and other key jurisdictions.
