As the EU pivots from regulatory expansion to regulatory consolidation, businesses face a rapidly shifting sustainability landscape. Omnibus I has recalibrated reporting and compliance expectations, while the Environmental Omnibus introduces wide-ranging changes to environmental law.
This regulatory briefing will provide a focused look at the EU’s regulatory program for 2026, highlighting the key initiatives, dates and milestones that organizations will need to track in the year ahead. We will place these developments into a broader context, examining how the EU’s recent simplification agenda, Omnibus I and emerging Environmental Omnibus shape the direction of travel for reporting, due diligence, and environmental legislation.
As usual, the regulatory briefing will be led by Lucas Bergkamp, who will open the session with a structured overview. Following his briefing, we will move into an open discussion and a Q&A segment.
