The Conference Board survey explores how business is approaching greenhouse gas (GHG) management and integrating it into an overall business strategy. Businesses see increasing public concern about greenhouse gases both a risk and an opportunity. Approximately 75 percent of survey respondents are actively measuring their “carbon footprint.” Just over 50 percent indicate they have a program in place to actively reduce or offset GHG emissions; another third are developing such a program. The report details active measures companies are undertaking to tackle greenhouse gas emissions.
