Trustees
CED Trustees are mainly chief executive officers, and Board Directors, of leading U.S. companies who bring their unique experience to address today's pressing economic and geopolitical policy issues. Collectively they represent 30+ industries, and over 4 million employees.
The business executives who established CED in 1942 and helped develop the Marshall Plan for Europe focused on the public interest through a pragmatic business lens. Today, CED Trustees make this same commitment to represent the reasoned, nonpartisan voice of business and to provide solutions in the nation's interest on major policy issues.
Trustees determine CED's annual priority issues and help produce trusted insights and recommendations for policy and business leaders to ensure economic prosperity with equal opportunity for all Americans.
