We revised our 2017 GDP growth forecast from 2.0 to 2.3 percent. Trump’s proposed policies could sustain consumption and encourage investment, especially in the second half of 2017. Despite slightly more optimism about 2017, uncertainty has risen, with higher risks of extreme outcomes, both positive and negative.
