Just days after taking office, the Trump Administration announced new 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada. Shortly thereafter, a volley of additional tariffs targeting dozens of other countries were unveiled on ‘Liberation Day.’
While many deals were struck over the year that followed, the future of North America’s largest trade agreement remains uncertain.
The US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is currently under review, and major changes, or perhaps even its demise, are possible this year.
