Businesses are being pushed to execute more complex strategies at an ever-increasing rate, and many companies are looking to organization design to seize new opportunities in global markets. As a result, “organization architect” is becoming an important role for leaders, and executives increasingly need to have a solid understanding of organization design concepts and models. Quite often, this means moving away from a traditional organization chart and viewing the entire organization more holistically to solve problems and create strategies.
