C-Suite Challenge 2020: COVID-19 Recovery Survey— (Japan Edition)

August 13, 2020 | Report

In the view of Japanese CEOs, a return to pre-COVID-19 levels of revenue will take considerable time. CEOs in Japan see opportunity to transform their organization into digitally driven enterprises that will be leaner and more agile in a post-COVID world. At the same time, they see a long-term strategic opportunity to cut costs. Changes in consumers’ buying behaviors, the improvement of healthcare systems, and CEOs’ redefinition of the corporate mission are according to Japanese CEOs the most likely long-term impacts of the pandemic on the economy, business, and society as a whole.
