Human Capital Analytics: A Primer

During the last two decades, human resources functions have aggregated volumes of information about the workforce. However, many of today’s human capital professionals are working with inconsistent, basic information and have yet to become proactive and predictive. This report, which reflects the work of The Conference Board Research Working Group on Human Capital Analytics, looks at the current state of human capital analytics in terms of challenges, guiding principles, processes, models, and standards. It identifies the key metrics, sources of data, common applications, and best practices for a sound human capital analytics function.
