29 June 2026 / Report
Since 2022, AI adoption has moved faster than almost any recent enterprise technology. Rapid gains in model performance have pushed many organizations to adopt AI before fully understanding its costs, risks, or long-term implications. That gap is becoming harder to ignore. The prices companies pay to use AI often do not reflect the full costs of developing, training, and scaling these systems. Business leaders should use today’s low prices to experiment and identify where AI genuinely delivers value to prepare for difficult prioritization decisions when prices normalize.
