A Human Capital-Focused Guide to Remote Work

In April 2020, The Conference Board began releasing a series of reports on the COVID-19 pandemic, covering human capital topics such as the importance of focusing on employee engagement in a crisis, leading virtual teams, addressing stigma and discrimination during times of crisis, and finding innovative alternatives to layoffs. HR leaders told us they needed a guide focused specifically on the implications of remote work for HR. This report is that guide: it distills discussions about remote work into brief sections organized by topic area. Under each insight is a link to the full report from which it came.
