The Omnibus Simplification Package is legislation introduced by the European Commission to simplify and reduce regulatory burdens related to corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence. It introduces a significant change to key parts of the European Green Deal—the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)—while maintaining the EU’s commitment to corporate responsibility, with significant implications for businesses, investors, and supply chains.
