The Conference Board Economics Watch^® Emerging Markets View

Leading economic indexes for major emerging economies have strengthened in Q1 on the back of improved sentiment, but a pickup in the rate of economic growth hasn’t materialized. It may take a few months to see whether improved confidence will lead to better economic performance. In the meantime, our outlook for emerging markets remains cautious.
