The Conference Board
Frank Steemers is an Associate Economist at The Conference Board and mainly involved in the analysis of the United States labor market. Based in New York he conducts statistical and descriptive analysis and provides content and discussion points for senior researchers. He is one of the primary researchers of the Conference Board wage and consumption forecasting models and presents on labor market webcasts. Steemers contributed to several projects, including the reports Help Wanted: What Looming Labor Shortages Mean for Your Business and The Impact of Demographic Trends on Consumer Spending.
Steemers received an MA and MSc with distinction for his successful completion of the double master’s degree program in International and Development Economics from the Universities of Groningen (The Netherlands) and Göttingen (Germany). In addition, Steemers holds a BSc in psychology from the University of Groningen.
