The Conference Board
Frank Steemers is a research assistant in the economics department of The Conference Board. Steemers is mainly involved in statistical and descriptive analysis in the field of international labor market economics. His focus is on labor shortages in the European and Asian labor markets. In addition, he has contributed to The Conference Board’s working paper on international labor cost projections and the update of the EU KLEMS Database, a project for the European Commission. For The Conference Board CEO Challenge® and the Navigating the Digital Economy report, Steemers assisted in data analyses.
For his successful completion of the double master’s degree program in International Development Economics from the Universities of Groningen and Göttingen, Steemers received an MSc and MA with the distinction cum laude. He wrote his thesis on growth and ageing. In addition, Steemers holds a BSc in psychology and a pre-MSc in international economics and business from the University of Groningen.
