Lisa Hunter is a Program Director and Senior Fellow for The Conference Board. She leads the Executive Compensation II and Compensation II Councils as well as Conferences related to Total Rewards. Lisa is also member of the Human Capitol Center Total Rewards Steering Committee and regularly contributes to Conference Board research, publications and webcasts on a range of compensation, benefits and total rewards matters. Lisa has served as a Program Director since January 2005.
In addition to her work as Program Director, Lisa is an adjunct faculty member at the Cornell University ILR School and the founder of the Newport Consulting Group, Inc. She has extensive corporate and consulting experience in compensation, organizational effectiveness, and human resource management. Lisa works closely with boards and organizations on a broad range of issues, including total rewards strategy, linking compensation with business strategy, performance management, and organizational change. Prior to establishing the Newport Consulting Group, she held senior human resources management positions at Time-Warner, Simon and Schuster and Home Box Office.
Lisa is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. She serves on the Cornell University ILR Dean’s Advisory Council and has served as a Vice Chair of the Cornell University Council and as President of the ILR Alumni Association.
