Steve Peterson

Steve Peterson is the Program Director for the Senior Human Resources Executives Council at The Conference Board. He retired as Vice President, Human Resources - Corporate Functions at Eaton after 26 years of service. In his role, Peterson was responsible for supporting the corporate executive officers and the global functional organizations with a focus on building organizational talent, succession, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching and driving standardized process across the organization. 

Peterson has over 35 years of HR experience including roles at the corporate and global operating group levels. Prior companies include Robert Bosch and GNB/Excide Technologies.

Peterson holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Indiana University and an MBA from Olivet Nazarene University. He is also a Certified Hogan Assessment Coach.
