Matt Fumento

Matt Fumento is a Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board. He is also the Founder of the Center for Collaborative Intelligence (CCI), an advisory and technology firm dedicated to helping organizations safely integrate AI into their daily operations.

A Cornell University ILR graduate, Fumento brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources, talent management, and organizational effectiveness, including senior HR leadership roles at Nortel Networks, GlobalFoundries, Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, and Korn Ferry Digital. He has also held senior positions at two of the HR profession's leading research organizations—serving as COO at the Human Capital Institute (HCI) and as Council Leader for the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp). Through CCI, Fumento bridges the gap between AI hype and practical reality, helping leaders redesign work, upskill their teams, and build secure environments where humans and AI work side-by-side
