Dawn McGinley

Dawn McGinley is the Program Director for the Change & Transformation Council at The Conference Board.  She recently retired from 3M after 41 years with a very successful and diverse career and many accomplishments at the enterprise level. 

Dawn climbed a nontraditional corporate ladder with important roles in several different functions and was sought after as a change agent. Earlier in her career, she held various marketing and communication leadership positions in 3M’s health care businesses, then in Six Sigma leadership, and built a solid business base. She went on to lead corporate marketing and public affairs for EMEA, living in Brussels, Belgium, for four years, and when she and her family returned to the US was responsible for all International. Understanding 3M’s global enterprise, she applied her skills and experiences to help lead several significant and challenging change and transformational efforts to success, including: ethics and business conduct, employee brand, employee/retiree benefits, community affairs, women’s leadership, diversity & inclusion, executive communications, and finally, crisis management and business continuity.
