As we have seen with other underrepresented groups in the workplace, the involvement of the members of the majority populations is an important component in making change happen. LGBT leaders and staff need the support of straight allies to assist with opening the dialogue and moving toward a more open and inclusive workplace.

For LGBT staff leaders and staff to feel engaged and comfortable, they need to be able to bring their “whole self” to work. Straight allies are key to creating an environment where LGBT staff and leaders can thrive

Learn about PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays how they are assisting companies with engaging the majority population in making the workplace a better place for all.
