How can more individuals and organizations capitalize on the benefits of mentoring and learning from others? We found in Global Leadership Forecast 2018 that when organizations use peer coaching, leaders are more likely to feel strongly engaged and accountable to the company and their team than when there is no coaching.
Additionally, organizations with a stronger mentoring culture demonstrated higher leadership quality, could fill 23 percent more of their critical leadership roles immediately, and were 1.7 times more likely to capture organizational knowledge before it’s lost than organizations whose leaders do not engage in formal mentoring.
