Peter Georgescu came from a Romanian work camp to become CEO of Young & Rubicam in New York. However, the widening wealth gap, stagnant wages, and decreased social mobility have made it harder for working classes to achieve prosperity today. In his new book "Capitalists Arise!", Mr. Georgescu calls out corporate America’s focus on short-term profits for hijacking capitalism. In this interview, Mr. Georgescu will share some of his personal story, his thoughts on the current American economy, and his ideas on how his fellow CEOs can course-correct capitalism, to re-empower middle classes and provide greater prosperity to companies, employees, and society as a whole.
