Between 2011 and 2014, BASF conducted sustainability assessments on almost the entire portfolio of the company’s products to better understand how they contribute to sustainability. Based on these assessments, BASF’s “Accelerator” solutions – those that contribute particularly to sustainability in the value chain – accounted for 23 percent of BASF's relevant sales in 2014, or about €15 billion.
In addition to an in-depth BASF case study, we will explore findings from a research collaboration between The Conference Board and the Investor Responsibility Research Center Institute (IRRCi). We will discuss the extent to which sustainability is generating revenue, providing business growth opportunities, and stimulating innovation in products and services among S&P Global 100 companies.
All registrants will receive a complimentary copy of the report. For more on this topic, visit https://www.conference-board.org/sustainability-innovation/
