On June 18, Wayne Carnall, a partner at PwC and former chief accountant of the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC, Cleary Gottlieb partners James Duncan and Sandra Flow and Cleary Gottlieb associate Corey M. Goodman will address the substantial increase in profits held offshore in recent years, including the U.S. tax and accounting limitations on its use and investment, and considerations related to transparency and the recognition of deferred taxes on financial statements. The panel will also discuss issues related to repatriation and other cash management.
