Talent management (TM) is still an emerging concept involving a redefinition of the role of HR, and even learning. There remains a certain lack of clarity on core skills sets needed in the Talent Management function. For organizations to be successful in the future, TM must itself be focused on both thinking strategically and analytically, and bring awareness of the need for this dual capacity into executive conversations throughout the organization.
