The U.K. Bribery Act is more far-reaching than any anti-corruption laws in the world.  With the impending 1 July passage of the Act, what are the steps that companies need to take to strengthen their anti-corruption programmes?  We will hear what some of the key components to this new law are and how it may change the landscape for compliance programmes for all companies doing business in the U.K.

This webcast will discuss:

  • How the U.K. Bribery Act goes beyond the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act which has been in effect since 1977 and has driven many anti-corruption compliance programmes in multi-national companies.
  • What kinds of enforcement actions should companies expect to see in the near term?
  • What should companies do to review their current anti-corruption training and enhance their practises in this area?

Audience: This webcast is intended for executives from the following areas: Internal Audit, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Training
