Transitions & Transformation: How America's Veterans Are Engaging in the Workplace
FEBRUARY 21, 2020
Welcome
Every year, approximately 200,000 men and women leave U.S. military service and return to life as civilians, a process known as military to civilian transition.
To ease this transition, the Transition Assistance Program – led by the Transition to Veterans Program Office of the Department of Defense (DoD), in partnership with the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Labor, Education, Homeland Security, and the Small Business Administration – provides information, tools, and training to ensure service members and their spouses are prepared for the next step post-military.
Join our expert panel to discover:
- How to tap into this underleveraged labor pool to help mitigate talent shortages;
- How to connect veterans to the mission and purpose of the hiring organization so they become highly engaged teammates, strong leaders, and productive employees; and
- What corporate actions have the greatest positive impact.
Who Should Attend: All HR professionals, particularly those in the talent acquisition space
