Preparedness in the Private Sector: 2012 Report

While companies continue to concentrate on the elements of business continuity they can directly control, they pay less attention to the issues over which they have less control but that are just as important to achieving resilience—the ability of an organization to bounce back with agility from an unforeseen circumstance. The Conference Board surveyed 281 executives from companies in a variety of industries on how they approach resilience. The 2012 survey is part of a series on business preparedness The Conference Board began conducting in 2007 as part of a project with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
