Recognizing its role, the business community has been a significant investor of dollars and resources in schools to enhance the educational experience. However, many employees remain unaware of the active role their own businesses play in the educational arena on a local, state, and/or national level. This discussion guide is designed to help employers communicate their current involvement in education programs and reform initiatives as well as help employees to be educated consumers of—and perhaps volunteers for—education.
