The 2006 Corporate Contributions Report

Total U.S. and international giving from 211 of the largest companies and corporate foundations amounted to $9.78 billion, which represents 71.02 percent of estimated U.S. corporate charitable giving in 2005. Among 209 of the 211 survey respondents, giving ranged from a low of $71,529 to a high of $1.22 billion, with median U.S. contributions at $8.69 million, compared to $7.63 million in 2004, an increase of 14.34 percent. Total U.S. giving among these 209 respondents was $7.78 billion in 2005.
