China View: Year-end data indicate improving growth momentum

Positive data from December suggest that a cyclical bottoming may be taking place as the pro-growth measures undertaken in 2019 begin to manifest in economic activities. We expect the growth stabilization to sustain through 1H 2020, but downward pressures on growth will remain in 2020.
