Financial vulnerability in Turkey and Argentina generates fears of contagion risk, raising concerns among investors in emerging markets. With this and several other external challenges such as rising oil prices, a strengthening dollar, and fears of a global trade war, the economic outlook for emerging economies will moderate for the rest of the year.
