The outlook for emerging markets remains positive for 2018. CEOs are increasingly optimistic about short-term prospects for large emerging market economies such as China, India, and Brazil. On the downside, US corporate tax cuts may add pressure on emerging markets to manage capital outflows, and the election cycles in Brazil and Mexico pose a challenge.
