The slowing momentum in the Leading Economic Indexes growth for large emerging markets suggest limited upside potential for faster growth in 2018. In the long-run, China’s growth will depend upon its commitment to productivity-enhancing reforms. India’s support of public sector banks may help short-term growth, but growth will slow down in the long term.
