Globalizing the Board of Directors: Trends and Strategies

This report examines the increasing importance of creating an international presence on a corporate board of directors, based on a 1998 survey conducted by the Global Corporate Governance Center. The "whats" and "hows" of board globalization are discussed, and eight cases studies presented. A brief look is also taken at some likely challenges in the future.
