As more people work from remote locations and are no longer tethered to brick and mortar facilities, flexible work arrangements like telework will simply be the way work is done. The emphasis will shift from “Can we trust people to work at home?” to “How do we help teleworkers succeed?” Forward-thinking companies need to understand the critical shifts in business drivers, culture, and technology so that they can begin to align their human capital decisions with the direction in which telework is headed.
