Giving in Numbers: 2013 Edition

While many companies have not fully returned to profitability after the recession, 59 percent of surveyed organizations in 2012 gave to charity more than they did before the recession. For the first time since Giving in Numbers was initiated, giving to K-12 and higher education combined became the top program area. This report, produced by CECP with The Conference Board, is based on data drawn from the Corporate Giving Standard, a peer benchmarking tool for corporate giving professionals, and is based on data from 240 companies, including 60 of the largest 100 companies in the Fortune 500.
