While there are more good reasons and ever more possibilities for establishing a joint venture, it continues to be difficult to successfully realize the potential of these partnerships. Even when companies can find a partner, there efforts often fail due to moving too fast or taking on disproportionate risk. However, if companies have clear objectives and remain disciplined in their execution, their joint ventures have a much greater chance of success.
