Conventional wisdom says mid-markets don’t have the extra capital to spend on green technology, construction, and manufacturing¾but energy costs and social and
political attention are among the reasons why some mid-markets are going green
anyway¾and reaping the benefits. In fact, large companies have been acquiring mid-markets committed to being green to boost their own efforts to be environmentally-friendly. Utility cost savings, increased productivity, publicity, and the potential for new business opportunities can all result from integrating green principles into
business.
