Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy Center Newsletter

Many of us in the corporate citizenship profession struggle with being able to quantify our impact. Both impact to society and to the company. This will be a focus of much of our work this year at the The Conference Board Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy Center. You are receiving this newsletter based on your past engagement with The Conference Board on this topic. We invite you to read the insight below from the annual Giving In Numbers study which draws the correlation between increased giving and increased profit. <

The next Council meeting will be for Philanthropy and Engagement. Their March meeting will take place in San Diego and will focus on Employee Engagement and Generational Change. The Corporate Social Responsibility Council met this month in San Francisco and explored Social Impact and Business Impact. This set the stage for our Center’s focus this year. The Global CSR & Philanthropy Council in November met in Accra Ghana. We looked at CSR in Sub-Saharan Africa and below is a link to a blog I wrote on our experience.
