Companies are paying increased attention to inclusion as well as to diversity—but to what extent do we have a shared understanding of what inclusion really means? A lively discussion amongst executive leaders at one of our recent Diversity and Inclusion Council meetings revealed both similarities and differences in how companies understand inclusion, and some gaps, too, such as tools for measuring and monitoring progress. Filling this gap will be a priority for the Diversity and Inclusion Center over the coming year.
