Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy Center Newsletter - October 2018

As American engineer and statistician W. Edwards Deming so eloquently stated, “In God We Trust, All Others Bring Data.” Happily, October has brought a flood of data here at The Conference Board. Following a volatile year in which threats to federal funding for the arts dissipated, businesses have shown a steadfast commitment to contributing financial and in-kind resources to support the sector. This is one of the key findings our just-released Business Contributions to the Arts report, published in partnership with Americans for the Arts.

At month’s end, we’ll be releasing Giving in Numbers: 2018 Edition, published by CECP in association with The Conference Board. Look for insights from this year’s findings in November’s newsletter.
