Earlier this year, The Conference Board and Mission Measurement announced a new partnership to create the world’s most comprehensive benchmarking study of its kind. Using Mission Measurement’s Impact Genome Project® (IGP), we’ve begun collecting and analyzing data on the social outcomes of corporations’ charitable contributions. We invite you to take part. Upcoming: September’s United Nations Week, with focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). China’s most pressing domestic policy priorities align with the SDGs, as evidenced by China President Xi Jinping’s stern speech in October 2017. Below, we identify the high-impact points of engagement in China, where available resources, commercial interests, and sustainability priorities align with the SDGs.

Measuring social impact, mapping to the SDGs, reporting, and breaking through the clutter dominated the latest Corporate Social Responsibility Council meeting. “If you don’t measure yourself, others will measure you. Own your data and message!” was our takeaway. I discuss this further in my blog, read on for more information.
