Press Release / News
The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® for Spain Declined
15 May, 2018

Please visit the detail page for: The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® for Spain.

Note: The Order Books Survey (%Bal, SA, 3mma), a component of the Leading Economic Index for Spain (i.e. the component was calculated using Order Book Forecast -DISC (NSA, %Bal)), was discontinued by the source agency in December 2017. The Conference Board has been using a statistical imputation for the series until a suitable substitute was researched to replace the discontinued series. Starting with next month’s release, the discontinued component will be replaced by a component calculated using Industrial Business Survey: Order Book (NSA, %Bal).

As a result, June's data release will incorporate historical benchmark revisions to the composite economic indexes.
