The Conference Board has appointed Brian Campbell to lead its US Governance & Sustainability Center and serve as General Counsel, effective September 22.

Campbell brings over 25 years of leadership in corporate governance, having served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at multiple companies. He has guided businesses through IPOs, activist engagements, M&A transactions, reorganizations, and enterprise risk management.

Most recently, Campbell served as Chief Legal Officer at Trajector Medical & Trajector Disability. Previously, he spent over two decades at DHI Group, Inc. (NYSE: DHX). As the company’s Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, he led its IPO and several acquisitions and divestitures.

A recognized governance thought leader, Campbell serves on the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Global Board of Directors. He has also held leadership positions with ACC’s NYC Chapter and its Global Small Law Department Network.

“Brian’s experience at the top echelons of corporate governance makes him well-suited to lead our US Governance & Sustainability Center and serve as General Counsel. His insights will be invaluable to both our Members and society,” said Steve Odland, President and CEO of The Conference Board.

“At a time when companies face an ever-growing list of challenges and competing priorities in a rapidly shifting landscape, The Conference Board’s mission of providing Trusted Insights for What’s Ahead® could not be more important.
