In November 2020, in the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic, social unrest, and economic crises, The Conference Board conducted its annual Job Satisfaction survey. Overall job satisfaction increased, despite the economic crisis, mass layoffs and the increase in the unemployment rate, for the 10th consecutive year. This increase with the backdrop of the pandemic presents conflicting views of worker job satisfaction.
